New tweeter placement

-Installation:
Mounting the teeters is easy. You can use double sided tape and a swivel mount, or make a custom bracket. You want the tweeters angled up, but not at 45°, that is too far up. I used my 45° bracket and a custom bracket, so I could aim them down slightly to 30-35° (from horizontal).

My custom bracket is simply a piece of copper ground wire (solid core, un-insolated, used for home electrical wiring) bent to the desired shape. One side of the wire is connected to the tweeter, the wire is bent, and the other end can be screwed into the top of the kick panel (I recommend using small bolds and lock washers, screws have a hard time biting in the soft plastic.). Hence the only part of the kick panel that is drilled into is out of site. This setup is also ideal because the soft copper wire allows you to move the tweeters so you can align them just right.

Pics coming soon…

-Alignment:
You want both tweeters to be pointing toward the center of the vehicle.
